Blog is a simple but fully functional blog module for PrestaShop stores. It allows you to create and manage blog entries directly from the administration panel.

We created a blog module that we wanted to use in our store. We use it every day on https://prestasoft.pl/blog.

  • Create and edit articles in a simple visual editor
  • Optional categories of entries (e.g. we do not use at our home)
  • Tag System
  • Profiles of authors with links to social media (Facebook, Instagram, X)
  • Highlighting image for each entry
  • Share in social media + Copy entry URL

URL structure:

  • /blog/ - blog homepage
  • /blog/insert name - single entry
  • /blog/category/name-category - entries in category
  • /log/tag/name-tag - tag entries
  • /blog/author/author name - author entries
  • /blog/sitemap.xml - XML page map

Administrative Panel:

The module adds its own menu "Blog" to the administration panel with sections:

  • Entries - article management
  • Categories - organisation of alerts
  • Tags - marking of entries
  • Authors - authors profiles
  • Settings - module configuration

Settings:

  • Number of entries per page
  • Toggle/disable categories
  • On/off tags
  • Enable/disable authors
  • Configurable Date Format
