Adds an independent header and SEO content to category pages.
A category can keep the short name "Lamps" while its page uses the heading "Living room lamps: ceiling and floor lighting", if that describes its contents. Custom Category Heading adds a separate H1 field to the PrestaShop category editing form. The name saved in the category data remains unchanged.
Enter the additional title alongside the other category details. Prepare a separate text for each language; settings respect the shop in multistore. Headings are stored in the module's own table.
If the field is empty, the page uses the standard category name. You can therefore add a custom H1 only where a more specific title is needed.
The H1 should help buyers understand which products they will find on the page. You can mention their type, purpose or collection. Match the text to the actual products and avoid repeating keywords. A separate field lets you work on this heading independently of the shorter category name.
The module changes the H1. It does not add a separate SEO description block, generate articles or edit meta title and meta description.
Heading display depends on how the theme uses category data. After saving, check the page on a computer and phone, especially if the new H1 is longer than the original name.
